Opal glass lamp in oiled walnut marbre cream SHY3 – &tradition

With its base of marbre cream, its base oiled wood and its opal glass cap, the Herman lamp is a direct reference to the furniture of the early 20th century.

The lamp thus refers to a context before obsolescence, where sustainability was at the heart of the furniture production business.

It also refers to a rich cultural context where symbolism and impressionism rub shoulders in a whirlwind of forms inspired by the limit states of matter.

Here the oblong form, of the aircraft, merge with a solid foot. A lamp that stands the test of time and the elements.
